Description

Respiratory Therapist

Location

Jackson, Michigan

Contract

13 weeks
36 hours per week
3 x 12-hour shifts
Every other weekend
Shift: 1845-0715

Required Qualifications

Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Michigan
Respiratory Therapist (2 years of experience)
Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
BLS
Registration with the National Board of Respiratory Care
Associate of Science Degree in Respiratory Therapy
Experience in Supervisor roles

Role Overview

Provides life-support, resuscitation, monitoring, and medical gas therapy
Performs invasive and non-invasive diagnostic procedures for ICU and general practice patients
Documents patient care and completes patient billing information
Supervises and delegates to respiratory therapists, orients, externs, and students
