Labor and Delivery / Postpartum / Newborn Registered Nurse
Job Overview
- Contract role in Fort Defiance, Arizona
- 12-hour day shift
- Must be flexible to work other shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed
- 16-week contract
Clinical Focus
- Labor and delivery
- Postpartum rooms
- Newborn care
- Breastfeeding support
- May occasionally cover as charge nurse after charge nurse training
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Arizona
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Labor and Delivery (5 years of experience)
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- Experience working with Maternal-Fetal patients
- Experience working with Neonate patients
- Post Partum experience
- Nursery experience
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association or ALSO issued by American Heart Association
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- NRP
- AWHONN Advanced FHM or RNC-EFM
Additional Notes
- Travelers may occasionally float to other departments where they are qualified to work
- Floating may include taking a patient load or performing task-oriented duties
