Active Illinois RN license or confirmation that the application process has been initiated
BLS (AHA)
ACLS (AHA)

Assignment Details

Tele Intermediate unit
26 beds
Patient ratio: 1:4 or 1:5
Travelers are expected to float
Every other weekend required
Every other holiday required
No call requirement

Clinical Environment

Central telemetry monitoring
Common patient types include CHF, COVID pneumonia, Afib with RVR, tachy/brady syndrome, and syncope
No vents; Bipap, Cpap, and HF/Vapotherm used
RT available 24/7
Pharmacy support available 24/7
Nursing does not mix medications

Orientation

12 hours of non-billable orientation
1 shift of hospital orientation
2 shifts of unit orientation, including one day shift and one night shift

Additional Notes

Local placements accepted within a 50-mile radius
Drug screen required
Own scrubs may be worn; scrub color is not specified
