Registered Nurse

Location: Lexington, Kentucky
Specialty: Medical-Surgical / Telemetry
Employment Type: Clinical Nursing
Shift: 3rd shift, 7p–7a
Hours: 36 per week
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Overview

This role provides direct patient care on a unit, including assessments, treatments, admissions, transfers, discharges, patient/family education, and care coordination. The RN is expected to use the nursing process, critical thinking, and evidence-based practice while supporting a healing environment.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Indiana
Med Surg / Telemetry (1 year of experience)
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
BLS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience with Epic

Preferred Qualifications

BSN
Previous nursing experience

Key Skills

Clear, respectful verbal and written communication
Collaboration with care team members
Ability to assess age-specific patient safety issues and implement appropriate safety devices
Ability to use computer systems and applications or be trained to do so
