MRI Tech

Overview

Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: 3x12 evenings, Saturday–Monday, 11:00–23:30
Hours per week: 36
First-time travelers accepted: Yes
Locals accepted: Yes
On-call: Required as needed
Weekend/holiday coverage: Required as needed for department
Floating: Not required

Required Qualifications

MRI Technologist with 2 years of experience
MRI Technologist experience within the last year
Illinois license accepted as pending
BLS
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
PALS
Experience with Cerner
Must be able to complete fingerprinting in Illinois 3 business days before compliance deadline

Preferred Qualifications

ARRT-MR
Level I Trauma experience

Clinical Experience Needed

Abdomen and pelvis MRI
Cardiovascular MRI
Chest MRI
Head and neck CT experience/skills
Musculoskeletal MRI
Special imaging procedures
Spine case MRI

Work Environment

Acute care hospital
Level I trauma center
Magnet facility
562 staffed beds
Any solid color scrubs

Additional Notes

Parking permit required, no cost
RTO ideally no more than 5 days
