Registered Respiratory Therapist

Location

Fort Wayne, Indiana

Contract

13 weeks
36 hours per week
12-hour shifts
Evenings

Required qualifications

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) via NBRC
BLS
ACLS
NRP
5 years of experience preferred as a credentialed respiratory care practitioner
Adult intubation skill

Job responsibilities

Provide therapeutic respiratory care across patient populations
Review and maintain care plans
Perform patient evaluations and adjust care as needed
Support distressed newborn and C-section care

Schedule

Will not work alone
Call as needed
Every other weekend

No floating
250-bed hospital
12-bed ICU

Orientation and training

8 hours of non-billable orientation
Up to 3 weeks of department-specific training
EPIC training required
Preceptor check-off required before orientation is completed
