• 36 hours per week
• 3 x 12-hour night shifts
• Every other weekend
• Rotating holiday schedule
• Shift time: 1800 to 0630

Required Qualifications

• Graduation from a Respiratory Care Program
• Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Wisconsin
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (1 year of experience)
• Registered Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• NRP

Key Responsibilities

• Provide routine cardiopulmonary therapies, including oxygen saturation checks and oxygen titration per protocol
• Initiate, monitor, evaluate, and wean invasive and non-invasive ventilation
• Assess patients before and after therapies, medications, procedures, or devices, and recommend therapy changes as needed
• Monitor, educate, and document patients and families on therapies, medications, goals, and equipment
• Set up, calibrate, troubleshoot, clean, and maintain respiratory equipment
• Respond to emergent care situations, assist with resuscitation, and provide airway and ventilator support
• Transport critically ill adult patients on ventilatory support to intrahospital procedures and testing
• Provide care for pediatric and adult patients when assigned
• Participate in community education and continuing education activities
