Location: Wichita, Kansas

Job Description

• Position in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) requiring specialized nursing skills.
• Work in a high-acuity environment at a level 1 trauma center.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Kansas
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• NIHSS
• MOAB Moderate Risk
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Driver's License

Onboarding & Compliance Requirements

• Completion of facility-specific onboarding including:

  • Signed assignment agreement and confirmation documents
  • Ascension Core Competencies (HIPAA, Joint Commission, OSHA, etc.) with minimum 80% passing score
  • Ascension EKG Exam with minimum 80% passing score, updated every 3 years
  • Ascension Cerner Test-Out and training checklist with signed attestation
  • Ascension Skills Checklist completed within one year of start and updated annually
  • Ascension Nursing Contract Worker Onboarding (onsite)
  • Ascension Profile and Resume submission
  • Ascension Badge Photo (front-facing headshot with white or blue background, no filters)
  • Ascension Color Vision test completed prior to start and updated every 3 years
  • Ascension Nova StatStrip pre-hire modules for non-allied positions
  • Ascension Education Attestation (completion of pre-hire education modules)
  • Confirmation of Assignment documentation upon initial assignment and extensions
  • Employment verification for past seven years, updated annually
• Optional: Unit-specific checklist to be uploaded by unit leader within one week of start

Additional Notes

• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
• All required documents and verifications must be current and compliant prior to assignment start.
• Extensions require updated documentation as specified.
