Description
Pharmacist
Location
- Iron Mountain, Michigan
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Schedule
- Day shift, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week
- Rotating schedule every 3 weeks
- Weekend coverage required every 3rd weekend
- On-call required: 7 nights every 3 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Michigan pharmacist/controlled substance license
- BLS (AHA)
- Inpatient pharmacy experience
- Competence in compounding, order entry, and order verification
- Ability to work with and supervise pharmacy technicians
Preferred Experience
- Paragon experience
- Pyxis experience
Work Setting
- Inpatient pharmacy department supporting inpatient operations, including ER, ICU, inpatient, infusion center, and oncology center
Additional Notes
- Casual dress or scrubs; scrubs are provided
- Department orientation is provided by the pharmacy manager
- Training period of 1 to 2 weeks
- Local candidates within 80 miles of the facility are subject to a reduced rate
