Emergency Department RN

Location

Schedule

12-hour shifts
3 shifts per week
2nd shift: 12p–12a
Weekends and holidays required

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Indiana
ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
BLS
ACLS
TNCC
PALS
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

BSN
Previous nursing experience

Key Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing reassessments
Provide direct patient care, treatments, and nursing rounds
Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges
Educate patients and families
Collaborate with the care team and support unit-based quality improvement activities

Additional Details

Must be able to communicate and collaborate effectively with the care team
Must be able to assess age-specific patient safety issues and implement appropriate safety devices
Computer system familiarity and ability to be trained is expected
