Intensive Care Unit RN
Location
Elizabethtown, Kentucky
Contract Length
13 weeks
Schedule
- 12-hour shifts
- 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Kentucky
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
- BLS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) experience
- Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) experience
Preferred Qualifications
- BSN
- Previous nursing experience
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing reassessments
- Provide direct patient care, treatments, and nursing rounds
- Coordinate admissions, transfers, discharges, and discharge teaching
- Educate patients and families
- Delegate and oversee patient care tasks appropriately
- Participate in quality improvement activities and core measures
- Support a healing, patient-centered care environment
