Respiratory Therapist

Location

• Elizabethtown, Kentucky

Contract

• 13 weeks
• 36 hours per week
• 12-hour shifts

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Kentucky
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (1 year of experience)
• Registered Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS
• NRP
• Associate's degree in respiratory care

Preferred Qualifications

• Healthcare or customer service experience
• Limited permit/student respiratory license experience
• Bachelor’s degree in respiratory care

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory conditions
• Provide invasive and non-invasive ventilator support
• Perform airway management and advanced respiratory procedures
• Deliver medicated and non-medicated respiratory therapies
• Complete diagnostic testing, including pulmonary function, neurodiagnostic, cardiac, blood gas, and oximetry studies
• Document patient care and communicate findings to the care team
• Support equipment preparation, maintenance, and supply needs
