Sonographer

Job Overview

Location: Morgantown, West Virginia
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift
Hours: 40 per week

Required Qualifications

Adult Echocardiography experience
3 years of Adult Echocardiography experience
Adult Echocardiography experience within the last year
BLS certification
RCS, RDCS-AE, ARDMS, RDMS, or RDCS
Driver's License
Cardiac Sonographer experience

Experience / Skills

Experience with image enhancing agents
Experience with shunt/bubble studies
Experience with strain imaging
Ability to prepare preliminary reports for a physician

Schedule / Work Conditions

Day shift options include 5 eight-hour shifts or 4 ten-hour shifts
Occasional weekend coverage may be requested
No call required
No float coverage

Additional Notes

Drivers license address must be outside 50 miles from the facility
A current, unexpired copy of the driver’s license must be included with submission
Previous permanent employees must have been gone for 2 years
Previous travelers who worked there for 1 full year must have been gone for 2 years
Only one submission at a time is allowed across the WVU system
Up to 2 candidates may be submitted per opening
