Contract Length

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• Current Nursing Home Administrator license issued by the state of practice
• 2 years of experience as a long-term care administrator
• Active member of a Christian church
• Must be able to speak and write English clearly

Key Responsibilities

• Provides overall leadership and management of the facility during a leadership transition
• Oversees regulatory and organizational compliance, financial and operational stability, and spiritual leadership
• Manages infection prevention and control activities
• Maintains a safety program and resident rights protections
• Oversees the Quality Assurance Performance Improvement program
• Directly supervises assigned staff and may serve as interim DON, including working the floor and covering shifts as needed

Certification

• BLS certification

• Ability to travel to the location is required
• On-call and callback time is not billable
• Guaranteed hours do not apply during the first week
• No charge rate
• A backout/quit fee applies if the agency does not provide 2 weeks’ notice
