Location

• Crisfield, Maryland

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Schedule

• 12-hour day shifts
• Rotating weekends required
• Holiday pattern assigned upon placement

Setting

• Nursing home and skilled nursing units

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Maryland
• Long Term Care (1 year of experience)
• Long Term Care experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
• Provide direct patient care and patient/family education
• Perform nursing assessments, medication administration, wound care, infection prevention, glucose monitoring, pain management, oxygen therapy, catheter care, enteral feeding care, bowel and bladder management, fall prevention, skin care, emergency response, documentation, delegation, and CNA/staff supervision

Work Conditions

• 100-mile local radius restriction
• May be called off or canceled up to 12 hours per 13-week assignment
• 8 hours of non-billable orientation
• Orientation does not count toward guaranteed hours

Additional Details

• Navy blue or ciel blue scrubs required
• Patient ratio is typically 1:19 on days and nights, with nights potentially increasing to 1:38 from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. depending on staffing
