Registered Nurse: Med/Surg with ER

Job Details

• Location: Hebron, Nebraska
• Employment type: Contract
• Schedule: 36 hours per week; days or nights; 5p-5a, 3 days per week with weekend and holiday rotation
• Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Nebraska
• Med Surg / Telemetry (3 years of experience)
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
• BLS
• ACLS
• TNCC
• NRP
• STABLE
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Role Overview

• Provides nursing care in Med/Surg, ER, LDR, and Nursery settings
• Participates in planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care
• Performs medication administration and documentation using barcode scanning in the electronic health system
• Assists with examinations, rehabilitation, patient teaching, and care of newborns and obstetric patients
• Supports quality assurance, orientation of new employees, in-service programs, meetings, and educational workshops
