Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Alaska
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Urgent Care (2 years of experience)
• Urgent Care experience within the last year
• BLS

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical services in an ambulatory urgent care setting
• Support providers, clinic staff, and management to deliver quality care and efficient clinic operations
• Lead and direct clinic staff, including front desk and patient care functions
• Maintain medication inventory and supplies
• Perform quality control checks for point-of-care tests
• Document care and services accurately and promptly
• Assist with opening and closing provider clinics
• Communicate with other departments to support patients, providers, and clinic staff

• Must be able to multitask, work independently, and collaborate as a team
• Willingness to teach, problem-solve, and ask for help when needed

Physical Requirements

• Regularly required to talk or hear
• Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands, and reach with hands and arms
• Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs

Additional Notes

• Start date will be at least 6 weeks after fingerprint cards are received for processing
• Housing and transportation are not provided for travelers
• Traveler profile applications are accepted only from travelers living at least 100+ miles away from the work location
