Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Alaska
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Urgent Care (2 years of experience)
- Urgent Care experience within the last year
- BLS
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical services in an ambulatory urgent care setting
- Support providers, clinic staff, and management to deliver quality care and efficient clinic operations
- Lead and direct clinic staff, including front desk and patient care functions
- Maintain medication inventory and supplies
- Perform quality control checks for point-of-care tests
- Document care and services accurately and promptly
- Assist with opening and closing provider clinics
- Communicate with other departments to support patients, providers, and clinic staff
Work Environment
- Fast-paced clinic setting
- Must be able to multitask, work independently, and collaborate as a team
- Willingness to teach, problem-solve, and ask for help when needed
Physical Requirements
- Regularly required to talk or hear
- Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands, and reach with hands and arms
- Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
Additional Notes
- Start date will be at least 6 weeks after fingerprint cards are received for processing
- Housing and transportation are not provided for travelers
- Traveler profile applications are accepted only from travelers living at least 100+ miles away from the work location
