Pediatric CVICU RN — Phoenix, Arizona

Overview

• Contract role
• 36 hours per week
• Days or nights available
• Start date: 9/28/26
• Contract length: 26 weeks

Location

• Phoenix, Arizona
• May float between multiple locations in the Phoenix area
• May float between NICU and PICU

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Arizona
• 2 years of experience in CVPICU
• CVPICU experience within the last year
• Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Current PALS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience
• PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care experience

Preferred Experience

• Experience at a hospital with a Level III or IV NICU
• Experience floating to NICU and PICU
• Children’s hospital experience

Education

• ADN, BSN, or Diploma in Nursing

Compliance / Health Requirements

• Flu vaccination is required October through April
• Flu exemption applications must be approved before starting
• If not vaccinated for flu or COVID-19, declination and masking protocol agreements are required, and masking is required during the full respiratory virus season
• COVID-19 vaccination is recommended but not required

Additional Notes

• Shift will be decided in the interview
• Only time off discussed in the interview will be pre-approved
• NRP is preferred
