Description

Respiratory Therapist

Location

Paducah, Kentucky

Schedule

3 days/week
12-hour night shifts
5:30 PM to 6:00 AM
36 hours/week

Contract Length

13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Associate's degree in respiratory care
Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Kentucky
Registered Respiratory Therapist (1 year of experience)
Registered Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
BLS
ACLS
NRP

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in respiratory care
Healthcare or customer service experience
Limited permit/student respiratory license experience

Key Responsibilities

Assess, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory conditions
Provide medicated and non-medicated respiratory therapy
Manage invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation
Perform airway management and assist with advanced specialty procedures
Complete diagnostic testing and blood gas sampling
Document patient care and communicate updates to the care team
Clean, prepare, and maintain respiratory equipment and supplies
