- Every other weekend
- Holidays may be required based on department needs
- No call requirement
- May be floated as a help-all to other units, though this is rare
Required Qualifications
- Active Illinois RN license or confirmation that the application process has been initiated
- BLS
- ACLS
- ENPC or PALS
- TNCC or TNS
- Must be able to produce a negative drug screen
- 2 years of nursing experience preferred
- At least 1 prior travel assignment preferred
Clinical Setting
- Level 1 trauma emergency department
- 65 private beds
- Typical patient population ranges from newborns to elderly patients, including critically ill, stroke, heart attack, and trauma patients
Additional Notes
- Local candidates within 50 miles are accepted
- Travelers do not self-schedule
- Block scheduling may be accommodated
- Scrubs: no specific color required, but shirts under scrubs should be solid colored
