Job Overview

Location: Calais, Maine
Employment type: Contract
Shift: Nights; three 12-hour shifts
Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Maine
Med Surg (1 year of experience)
Med Surg experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Role Summary

Directs and coordinates the patient care team
Develops patient care plans with physicians, other care team members, the patient, and family when applicable
Provides individualized nursing care using the nursing process across pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
Promotes teamwork with medical staff and personnel throughout the hospital
Follows policies related to confidentiality, sexual harassment, advance directives, and the Americans with Disabilities Act
