Description

Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse

Location

Salisbury, Maryland

Contract Length

13 weeks

Schedule

Four 10-hour day shifts per week
On-call: 1 day each week and every other weekend

Required Qualifications

2–5 years of experience
Active Maryland or compact state RN license
Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Active ACLS certification from the American Heart Association

Assignment Details

Float between areas of radiology
1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio
4 interventional radiology rooms
Scrubs provided by the hospital

Procedures / Clinical Duties

Patient assessment and care for interventional radiology procedures, including arteriograms, biopsies, pressure holding, and sedation
Assists radiologists with patient care
Develops, implements, evaluates, and documents plans of care

Additional Notes

Local candidates are not accepted within a 100-mile radius
Up to 12 hours of call-off or cancellation may occur per 13-week assignment
8 hours of non-billable orientation
Guaranteed hours do not apply during orientation
1 week of unit orientation with one day in each area and one call rotation
