Description
Electrophysiology Technologist
Location: Peoria, Illinois
Setting: Medical center
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days
Hours: 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week
Overview
This role assists physicians with specialized radiologic procedures under sterile technique. Responsibilities include preparing the procedure area, positioning patients, operating radiology equipment, passing materials, and taking exposures as directed.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree
- Completion of 2 years of training at an approved school of radiologic technology
- Illinois IEMA radiology licensure
- ARRT registration
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous patient care experience
Schedule Details
- Department operates Monday through Friday
- Rotating Saturday call from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
