Description

Registered Polysomnographic Technologist

Location

Bridgeport, West Virginia

Contract Length

13 weeks

Schedule

Nights, 12-hour shifts
36 hours per week
No self-scheduling
Weekends as scheduled

Required Qualifications

3 years of experience as a CPSGT or RPSGT
Minimum of 2 to 3 successful travel assignments
No canceled contracts on either side
Evaluation scores of 3.5 to 4.0
BLS certification
RPSGT via BRPT
RRT-SDS or CRT-SDS
CRT via NBRC
SDS via NBRC
RRT via NBRC

Unit Details

4 beds
Patient ratios: 2:1 or 1:1, depending on patient needs
Common patient types include pulmonary, OSA, CSA, OHS, COPD, oxygen-dependent, cardiology, and REM behavior cases
Equipment and workflow include NATUS, scoring, NATUS SleepWorks, MPR home units, CPAP, BiPAP, and ASV

Orientation

Attend one full-day education session at the hospital
Complete one education module
Go to HR for badge processing
