Description

Echo Sonographer

Overview

Full-time contract role in York, Maine
40 hours per week
Based at the main campus
Assists the Cardiology Team

Role Summary

Provides direct and indirect patient care in the hospital/office setting
Prepares patients and diagnostic equipment for imaging procedures
Explains procedures to patients
Obtains high-quality imaging
Assists physicians with interpretation of images
Keeps records properly
Works within the Echo Tech scope of practice

Required Qualifications

Echo Technologist experience within the last year
2 years of Echo Technologist experience
ARDMS or CCI
RCS

Preferred Qualifications

R.D.C.S. or R.C.S. preferred

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Weekend call required: 1 on 4 off, Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm
