Overview

• Location: Grants Pass, Oregon

Required Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT); no CRT
• BLS certification
• NRP
• Active Oregon license
• Minimum of 1 year of experience
• Delivery experience required

Job Details

• Provides respiratory care for patients on medical floors, adult critical care, and the emergency room
• Duties include breathing treatments, secretion mobilization, non-invasive and invasive ventilation, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, intubation assistance, drawing and analyzing blood gases, and obtaining EKGs
• Typical workload: 12-14 treatments per 4-hour round or 4-5 ventilators
• Orientation includes one precepted shift
• Uses EPIC EMR

Additional Notes

• Local candidates are not accepted within a 50-mile radius
• Non-billable orientation: 12 hours in the first work week
• Call off or cancellation may occur up to 24 hours per 13 weeks
• Scrubs required; no facial piercings other than ears; tattoos must be covered
