RN - NICU

Overview

• Temp assignment in Wellington, Florida.
• 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week.
• Urgent start needed by 10/5/26.
• Candidate must live 100 miles away.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Florida.
• NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care (2 years of experience).
• NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year.
• NRP.
• BLS.
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.

Unit / Clinical Setting

• NICU patient population ranges from 23 weeks gestation to 4 months.
• The unit receives neonates primarily from labor and delivery.
• Nurses respond to neonatal emergencies, attend all C-sections and high-risk deliveries, and provide bedside care for conditions including extreme prematurity, respiratory distress syndrome, sepsis, hypoglycemia, congenital anomalies, seizures, and meconium aspiration syndrome.
• Services include noninvasive nasal CPAP, mechanical ventilation including High Frequency Oscillation and nitric oxide inhalation therapy.
• Bedside procedures include peripheral IV insertion, septic workups, intubations, percutaneous catheter insertions, parenteral therapy, blood and blood products administration, bronchopulmonary hygiene, medication administration, vital sign monitoring, and parent teaching.
