Echocardiology Cardiac Sonographer
Overview
- Location: Peoria, Illinois
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Schedule: 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, with variable start times between 6:00 AM and 8:30 AM
- Weekends: No weekend shifts
- Holidays: No holiday requirement
- Call/standby: No
- Float/cover other areas: N/A
Required Qualifications
- BLS
- RDCS/RCS
- Experience with complicated pathology and advanced assessments
- Experience with contrast, bubble studies, post TAVRs, Mitra Clips, and some 3D imaging
- Great scanning skills and techniques
- In-depth knowledge of heart anatomy and pathology
- Experience with contrast/bubble studies/strain/advanced pathology
Preferred
- 3D imaging experience
Job Duties / Clinical Focus
- Performs contrast and bubble studies
- Performs post TAVRs and Mitra Clips imaging
- Performs stress tests
- Works in Radiology | Echocardiology/Cardiac Sonographer
Additional Notes
- Local placements within a 50-mile radius are accepted
- Drug-free campus; negative drug screen required for all panels
- Non-billable orientation is 12 hours
- Scrubs: no special color required; solid colors preferred
