Description

2N Cardiac Care ICU RN

Location

  • Lawrenceville, Georgia

Schedule

  • 12hr Days
  • Schedule varies, 7A-7P
  • 36 hours per week

Assignment Details

  • No local candidates within 50 miles
  • 2N Cardiac Care ICU is a highly specialized 20-bed unit
  • Provides care for patients needing open heart, vascular, and thoracic surgeries
  • Special equipment includes intra-aortic balloon pumps, Impella, CRRT, and epicardial pacemakers

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Georgia
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • CVICU (2 years of experience)
  • CVICU experience within the last year
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association
  • ACLS issued by American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications

  • CCRN
  • NIH cert

Holiday Expectations

  • Must work 2 major holidays out of 3: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day
  • Must work 1 minor holiday: the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve
