- Hours: 36-48 hour contract
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care (2 years of experience)
- PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- PALS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- Driver's License
Onboarding Requirements
- BLS: Must be AHA
- PALS: Must be AHA
- ACLS: Must be AHA
- Ascension Specialty Exam: Must be completed prior to first assignment; minimum 80% or national benchmark passing score; only 2 attempts allowed
- Ascension Core Competencies: Must be completed within a year of start; minimum 80% or national benchmark passing score; only 2 attempts allowed
- Ascension EKG Exam: Must be completed with a passing score of at least 80%; only 2 attempts permitted
- Ascension Onboarding Requirements Education Attestation
- Ascension Nursing Contract Worker Onboarding
- Ascension Nova StatStrip
- Ascension Badge Photo
- MMR: Proof of 2 MMR vaccines or positive IGG titer
- Fit Test: Required for all travelers
- Hepatitis B: Documentation of vaccination series completion or declination
- Influenza Vaccine: Exemptions/declinations accepted; mask required at all times if declined
- Health Statement: Statement of good health or completed physical exam prior to first assignment, updated annually
- Driver's License/State ID: Must not be expired and must match address on file
- 2 Step PPD OR IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot)
- Varicella: Proof of immunity, vaccination, or provider verification of history
- Tdap: Valid within 10 years
