Schedule

• 12-hour nights
• Every other weekend required
• 36 hours per week

Unit Details

• MedSurg Inpatient Rehab | RN
• 15 beds total: 13 single rooms and 1 double room
• Typical patient ratio: 5 patients
• No tele on the unit

Required Qualifications

• BLS certification
• RN license
• Non-Oregon licensed RNs may be eligible for a 90-day temporary license if their permanent license is not posted before the assignment start

Preferred Qualifications

• MedSurg experience
• Inpatient Rehab Nursing experience

Clinical Focus

• Inpatient Rehabilitation Services
• Patients recovering from surgeries, strokes, and multi-trauma

Responsibilities

• May need to titrate drips occasionally
• Charge RN may take a modified assignment of 2-3 patients, and may take a full assignment if needed
• May float to the inpatient setting if overstaffed

Additional Notes

• Local candidates are not accepted within a 50-mile radius
• 12 hours of non-billable orientation in the first work week
• Weekend coverage is required
• Holiday coverage is required
• No call or standby requirement
• Any color of professional scrubs is allowed
• Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, and moving of 50+ lbs during each 12-hour shift
