Lead MRI Tech

Overview

• Location: Chicago, Illinois
• Employment type: LTA
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 08:00 - 16:30
• Role focus: Leadership position with responsibility for regulatory oversight, workflow optimization, scheduling, and high-risk safety governance.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: MRI Technologist (1 year of experience) with MRI Technologist experience within the last year
• Credential: ARRT or ARMRIT
• BLS: BLS issued by American Heart Association
• License/verification: Current license and primary source verification within 30 days prior to start for all licensed professionals
• Education verification: Verification of education relevant to clinical work, completed within 90 days of start
• Skills checklist: Clinical skills checklist completed within one year of start and updated annually for the specialty
• References: At least two professional references completed prior to first assignment
• Driver's License: Driver's License

• Positive PPD - Negative Chest X-Ray and Annual TB Questionnaire
• Ascension Name Change Document

Onboarding / Compliance

• Background check: Criminal background check, EPLS, and employment verification required
• Health documentation: MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza Vaccine, Health Statement, 2 Step PPD or IGRA, Varicella, Tdap, Fit Test, and 11 Panel Drug Screen required
• Professional onboarding items: Biometric consent, non-nursing contingent worker pre-hire modules/attestation, onboarding education attestation, badge photo, confirmation of assignment, and driver’s license/state ID required
