Description

OR RN

Overview

Location: Martinsburg, West Virginia
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days
Hours per week: 40
Schedule includes 8-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts with varied start times; block scheduling may be allowed if it meets unit needs
Floating: outpatient surgery
Unit: OR with 9 ORs, 1 procedure room, and 1 hybrid
Average volume: 35-45 cases per day

Required Qualifications

RN license
BLS (AHA)
ACLS (AHA)
2-3 years of experience in the specialty
2-3 previous travel assignments
Ortho experience
Experience passing the arms in and out for Robotics
Epic familiarity

Preferred

PALS
Scrubbing experience for RN

Call Requirements

One weeknight on-call 7p-7a
One weekday call shift every 2 weeks, Monday-Thursday
One weekend 24-hour on-call shift per month
Holiday call rotation as needed
Call response time: 30 minutes

Additional Notes

RNs may circulate cases if needed
Night shift RN may be the only RN with 2 techs
Scrubs are provided
Unit orientation: 3 shifts / 1 week
