Clinical Support Unit Boise Hospital Critical Care RN

Role

• RN Float Pool in the Clinical Support Unit
• Specialty areas in the float pool: ER, ICU, MedSurg, Tele, L&D/PP, NICU
• Can also float to any facility as a 1:1 sitter

Schedule

• Nights, 7p-7a
• 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week
• Weekends as needed
• No call or standby

Required Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in the specialty
• Previous travel experience
• BLS
• ACLS for Tele and Critical Care
• NIHSS for Tele and Critical Care
• TNCC for ED

Preferred Qualifications

• Antepartum experience for L&D travelers
• Mother baby experience for L&D travelers

Additional Details

• RNs float only within their specialty and will not float to a lower acuity
• Travelers are first to float and may float midshift to different units and facilities as needed
• Charge nurse on all units
• Nurse aides/patient care techs are present on the units
• Tele/monitor techs are present on ICU, ER, Tele, and PICU
• No specific scrub color required, as long as attire is clean and professional
• 3 shifts of inpatient orientation after a meet-and-greet day 1 of orientation
• Radius rule: candidates must live outside 50 miles
