Description

RN Flex Pool

Overview

Contract assignment in Hilo, Hawaii.
12-hour day shifts, 0645 to 1915.
Scheduled 36 hours per week after the first week of orientation; no guarantee of hours.
Contract length: 15 weeks.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Hawaii.
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
Stepdown experience with 2 years of experience.
Stepdown experience within the last year.
Med Surg experience.
CVU - Cardiovascular Unit experience.
BLS.
ACLS.

Preferred Qualifications

PALS.
Procedural Sedation.
TNCC.
ENPC.

Unit and Float Scope

Flex RN floats between various medical and surgical units.
Float units include Medical Unit, Laulima Unit, and, on rare occasions, Cardiovascular Unit.
Unit sizes: Medical 77 beds, Laulima 18 beds, Cardiovascular Unit 15 beds.

Additional Details

Meditech EMR, Pyxis, wound vac, and chest tubes are used in the unit.
Professional nursing attire; clean scrubs.
Orientation time is provided for each unit.
