Pre/Post OP RN

Overview

Travel/Contract role in Springfield, Illinois
Day shift: 5x8 hours, 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM
13-week assignment
Average daily census: 25
5-room unit
First-timers accepted
Will float if needed
Open to block scheduling
RTO ideally no more than 5 days

Required Qualifications

Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Valid RN license in Illinois
Preoperative experience within the last year
3 years of preoperative experience
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications

PALS is required based on unit/specialty and must be AHA; RQI acceptable

Additional Notes

Client may call off up to 36 hours per 13-week assignment without paying for cancelled hours
If the client cancels more than allowed, cancelled hours beyond that limit are billable
If placed on-call instead of being called off, that counts as a called-off shift
