Schedule

• Days
• Clinic is open Monday–Friday
• Start times vary based on provider schedules
• 4–10 hour shifts within a 7:30 AM–5:30 PM window

Required Qualifications

• Radiology Technologist with 2 years of experience
• Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
• BLS
• ARRT (R)

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience
• Weightbearing orthopedic x-ray experience
• Ambulatory clinic experience
• First-time traveler accepted

Department Details

• 8 Carestream fit/compass scanners/rooms
• 1 Siemens portable
• 1 EOS
• All rooms are dual rooms with 2 x-ray rooms hooked together
• 2 techs per room
• No floating to other areas; assignment stays in a specialty-specific pod

Common Studies / Duties

• Orthopedic weightbearing films
• Ortho package studies, including leg length and scoliosis
• Does everything except soft tissue, abdomen work, and chest

Work Environment

• Team-oriented culture
• Techs are never working alone
• 15–25 studies per tech per day
• Schedule is managed by the manager

Orientation

• 1 day with an educator
• 1 week in the sports area with a team member for workflow and systems orientation

Additional Notes

• Any color scrubs are allowed as long as they are clean and professional
• Red scrubs are not preferred
• No weekends
• No holidays
• No call or standby
• EPIC and Change Healthcare are used
