NICU Respiratory Therapist

Overview

• Contract role in Grand Forks, North Dakota
• 13-week assignment
• Straight nights, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week

Role Summary

• Performs and documents evaluations and patient assessments
• Provides diagnostic and therapeutic treatment, patient education, family teaching, and support
• Identifies significant changes in patient condition and takes appropriate action
• Provides high-quality critical care for infants in the NICU
• Responsible for transport of infants to/from referral health systems

Required Qualifications

• Respiratory Therapist experience
• Certified Respiratory Therapy - NICU (2 years of experience)
• Certified Respiratory Therapy - NICU experience within the last year
• Respiratory Therapist license in North Dakota
• Respiratory Therapist license in Minnesota
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• ACLS Certified
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
