Med Surg RN - Urology/Nephrology

Overview

Travel/Contract RN role in Springfield, Illinois
Day shift: 0645-1915
25-bed unit with average daily census of 23
First-timers accepted
Every other weekend required
May float to other Medical Surgical units
Locals accepted
Block scheduling will be tried but is not guaranteed
RTO ideally no more than 5 days

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Illinois
Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management experience
Renal failure management experience
Blood Product Administration experience
Central line blood draw experience
Peripheral Line Care/Management experience
PICC line management experience
Starting IVs experience
Heparin medication experience
Chest tube management experience (Emerson/Pleur-evac)
CPAP/BiPAP experience
Experience with Cerner
