Emergency Department RN

Overview

Location: Richmond, Kentucky
Schedule: 11am–11pm
Contract length: 13 weeks
Hours: 36 per week

Required Qualifications

License: Valid RN license in Indiana
Experience: ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience) and ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
Certifications: BLS
Education: Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

BSN
Previous nursing experience

Role Summary

Provides direct patient care on the unit, including nursing rounds, assessments, treatments, admission/transfer/discharge activities, patient and family education, care coordination, and individualized treatment planning.
Performs comprehensive assessments, recognizes changes in patient condition, delegates appropriately, supports discharge planning, and participates in quality improvement activities.
