Role summary

Provides rapid, high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced emergency department setting, including triage, assessment, intervention, stabilization, and ongoing evaluation for patients with acute illnesses, injuries, and life-threatening emergencies.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Tennessee
• ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
• ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• PALS issued by American Heart Association
• NIH Certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification may be required
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification may be preferred or required
• Previous emergency department, critical care, or acute-care nursing experience preferred
