Overview

• Traveler - Backfill
• 13 weeks
• 10 Hour Days, 40 hours per week
• Danbury, CT

Required Qualifications

• Must be able to do IV injections
• ARRT(MR)
• CPR certification: BLS CPR Certification through the American Heart Association only
• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid state driver’s license, as applicable
• ARRT(R)
• State of CT Radiology license

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience
• 1 year of MR experience in high volume environments
• Proficiency running advanced MR studies independently
• Ability to work in a self-directed environment
• Previous experience managing customer interactions independently and resolving problems to mutual satisfaction
• Patient care skills with ability to explain complex medical terms and procedures to a non-medical audience

Role Details

• Responsible for patient safety and high quality MR studies
• Communicates with customers and radiologists as needed
• May train new technologists and/or Patient Coordinators
• Troubleshoots scanner, coach, and peripheral equipment to help prevent downtime or delays in patient care
• Local travel may be required
