Overview

• Location: Iron Mountain, Michigan
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Days, 8-hour shifts
• Hours per week: 40
• Suites: 4, with 3 run concurrently
• Average cases per day: 9

Required Qualifications

• BLS
• Experience with the listed case mix: General, Ortho, OB/GYN, Urology, Podiatry, and Cardiology (pacemakers, lead revisions, etc.)
• Experience in Pre-surgery and PACU
• Must have availability to cover shifts and call during the holiday season 12/24/2026-1/4/2027

Schedule and Call

• Shifts begin between 0545 and 0900; schedule is built by the manager
• Call is rotated among trained RNs
• Call is approximately 5 days per month with 7 nurses, with slight variation due to PTO
• Weekday call runs from 1430 to 0630
• Weekend call runs from 1430 on Friday until 0630 on Monday
• Holiday call rotation is included
• For STAT cases, must be ready to make incision within 30 minutes or less

Floating / Coverage

• RNs also cover Pre-surgery/PATT and PACU

Additional Notes

• Scrubbing is not required for RNs
• EMR: Paragon
• Scrubs are provided by the hospital
• One week of orientation
• Candidates living within 80 miles of the facility are considered local rate
• If the clinician has ever worked for Marshfield, this must be noted in submission; if previously worked there, the end date must be at least 6 months before submission
• All clinicians must clock in and out at the facility
