Location
- Peoria, Illinois
Contract
- 13 weeks
- 12-hour shifts
- Evenings
- 48 hours per week
Required Qualifications
- Active IL license or confirmation that the application process has been initiated
- BLS
- ACLS
- ENPC or PALS
- TNCC or TNS
- Negative drug screen for all panels
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 years of nursing experience
- 1 prior travel assignment
- SANE RN experience
- Experience working at a teaching hospital
Assignment Details
- Level 1 ER with 65 beds and 2 trauma bays
- 1:3-5 nurse-to-patient ratio, variable by acuity or department needs
- Travelers may care for stabilized trauma patients after transfer to a pod, but are not likely to be primary nurses in the trauma bay
- No call requirement
- Every other weekend required
- Holiday coverage may be required based on department needs
- Travelers do not self-schedule
- Block scheduling may be accommodated
- Floating may occur rarely as a help-all on other units
- No specific scrub color required
