Description

Cardiac Cath Lab Tech

Overview

Location: Soldotna, Alaska
Assignment length: 16 weeks
Schedule: Days; Tue-Fri, 7:00am-4:30pm
Hours: 36 per week
Unit size: 4-6 rooms
Dress code: Scrubs

Role summary

Provides technical support during diagnostic and invasive cardiovascular and interventional radiology procedures, including scrub and hemodynamic monitoring duties, holding area support, and patient care before, during, and after procedures.

Required Qualifications

Cath Lab Technologist with 2 years of experience
Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
ARRT or RCIS or CVT
BLS
ACLS
PALS
Graduation from an approved school of radiologic technology

Preferred Qualifications

4 years in combination cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology lab
ARRT with Advanced Level Certification in Cardiac Interventional Radiography
Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist

New service line with orientation provided on the first day onsite plus department/service-specific orientation
