RN NICU
Location
- Nashville, Tennessee

- 13 weeks
- Night shift: 18:30 - 07:00
Role Overview
- Level III NICU registered nurse position caring for critically ill and high-acuity neonates
- Requires independent management of complex NICU patients, including those needing advanced respiratory support and therapeutic cooling
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Tennessee
- NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care (3 years of experience)
- NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- NRP
- STABLE
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Driver's License
Key Clinical Experience
- Care for premature, critically ill, and medically complex neonates
- Manage infants requiring therapeutic hypothermia/cooling
- Support patients needing ventilators, CPAP, BiPAP/NIPPV, and high-flow oxygen
- Monitor and manage central lines, PICC lines, umbilical lines, and other invasive devices
- Administer and titrate IV medications, continuous infusions, TPN, and blood products
- Participate in neonatal resuscitation and stabilization
- Recognize and respond to neonatal deterioration and emergencies
Additional Notes
- Previous travel experience is preferred
- Additional certifications may be required based on facility policy
