Inpatient Surgical (MedSurg) RN

1 travel assignment
Strict 75 Mile Radius Rule

Job Details

483-bed main campus
Meditech
12-hour night shifts, 0645 start
48 hours per week
Every other weekend
On call for low census
Holidays rotate with permanent staff
Scrub color: Caribbean Blue
Telemetry is monitored on different units
Floating is required
Floor-specific orientation provided
Must be flexible with changing assignments during the shift

Unit / Float Scope

MedSurg floats to Ortho/Neuro, Oncology, Acute Care, and JFW
ICU/ED floats to Cardiology, ICU, and ED

Additional Clinical Notes

Charge nurse: 1 on all units
Nurse aides/OB tech available
CNA ratio generally 1:8, sometimes 1:10
Vents include BIPAP, CPAP, vapotherm, and Draegar
OB/Neonatologist in house
IV team: none; PICC available
RT 24/7
Pharmacy 24/7
C-section experience: N/A
