Acute Care 6 (MedSurg) RN

Overview

Location: Albany, Georgia
Contract length: 17 weeks
Shift: Days, 12 hours
Hours per week: 36
Unit: 44 beds

Required Qualifications

RN license
BLS (AHA)
NIHSS (AHA)
Experience: 1 year experience required
Prior travel experience: 1 travel assignment required

Job Details

Patient ratios: 1:5, possibly 1:6 on days and nights
Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
Holidays: As needed
Tele: Yes, but monitored on a different unit
Floating: To all acute care and cardio for medical patients, or EC for acute care patient holds
Orientation: 1 week general orientation, plus 2 days floor-specific orientation
Scrub color: Caribbean Blue

Preferred

EMR experience: Meditech preferred, but not required
