Labor Delivery Recovery PP RN

Overview

Role: Labor Delivery Recovery PP RN
Location: Richmond, Kentucky
Contract length: 13 weeks
Schedule: 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Kentucky
LDRP - Labor Delivery Recovery & Postpartum (1 year of experience)
LDRP - Labor Delivery Recovery & Postpartum experience within the last year
BLS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

Previous nursing experience
BSN

Role Summary

Provides direct patient care on the unit, including nursing rounds, assessments, treatments, admission/transfer/discharge support, patient and family education, and care coordination
Performs comprehensive assessments, develops and implements care plans, delegates appropriately, and monitors patient response to care
Participates in unit-based activities and quality improvement efforts
