Description

LTC/SNF RN

Overview

13-week contract in Canistota, South Dakota
55-bed geri LTC psych facility
12-hour day shifts
36 hours per week
Every other weekend
Holidays if they fall within the block schedule
No on-call or call-back
80-mile local placements

Required Qualifications

RN license
BLS certification

Preferred Qualifications

Geri psych experience or LTC psych experience

Unit / Patient Population

Elder population, including dementia
Behavioral program with some schizophrenia, bipolar, and paranoia cases

Schedule / Assignment Details

12-hour block scheduling
Work week runs Sunday through Saturday
Location-specific orientation includes training, tour, competencies, and 1–2 shadow shifts
PCC EMR

Housing

GSS housing is available; local rates apply
